np: queen - bohemian rhapsody

there is something to be said about the power of girlfriends. how even tho you're miles apart, talking to them online still feels like they're right next to you. its not exactly the same, but it feels like it. its comforting to talk to the ppl who know you inside out, who've known you for years, who dont judge or criticise and who are ok with just listening and then offering their advice/words of comfort/humour.it'll be even better if i could get a hug, but what can you do. so...to my girls, you know who ya'll are. i love you.

had an alright weekend. friday night was bhangra night. it was much more fun than i thought it would be. shopping with jema and grace in richmond on saturday. not a great saturday night, and indian food with the sis and HK on sunday. THAT was good stuff. lamb, fish, veg curry, 2 naan and 1 plate of rice along with mango lassi for 13 bucks. i was stuffed to the brim. and the place is so close to my house. anyone wants to eat indian food? call me.

i should start studying. i wasnt thinking about school during the first 2 weeks of term, and i've fallen behind somewhat. got an assignment due on monday and reading to do for bio and phys labs.anita and i are lamenting about our lack of self discipline but at the same time we're chatting online about brazilian waxing. but now we're off to study. really. we are. shut up.
